I'm surprised that it is as good as it is for as cheap as it is. I feel that it is still "early" in development (functionality wise) but it will get better and will become more valuable. I also would be willing to pay for the software. To me it seems like they are willing to let people test the waters without officially calling them beta testers and I'm ok with that.

I will say that I personally think that the extended license deal is they way it is at the moment because I would guess that they plan on offering the full loaded extended software for a fee once the bugs are worked out. No need for a laptop (Although I prefer to use a laptop) a smart phone/tablet and your on your way. I just think this is a great group with the potential to be a top notch scan tool. I'm not the person to sit here and list all of the pros this software has because I haven't gotten that deep into the software plus to be honest I'm more comfortable with my other scan tools because I have used them longer. For under $50 most people can run a test that usually requires a MUCH more expensive tool. I saw a youtube video where a person did the injector buzz test on a Ford Diesel. I applaud the FORScan tool team for there effort. I couldn't find the GEM module system test in my other tools. It helped me diagnose a bad windshield wiper switch. I used the FORScan software to run a GEM module system test on a 1995 Ford Windstar. Yes my OTC Genisys Touch and AE proline can also do it but those tools are MUCH more expensive. I have used the software to reprogram PATS keys on a vehicle that only had one key. The group of people at FORScan are allowing free extended licenses and I have taken them up on the offer.
